Christmas Card Photo Shoot #45: Check
Christmas Card Photo Decision: Check
Order Christmas Cards: Check
Order Snowflake Stamps: Check (Yes, people, we specifically choose the stamps. I know. I’m ridiculous.)
Isn’t it amazing how one small item checked off the list makes you feel that much better?
Ok, so I have to admit. I’ve had the Christmas card picked out from a place online since October. So it was just a matter of getting the right photo before I could order it and get it out. Something which would have done by now, in my previous life. I had thought that I would only be able to get the shot I was hoping for with my good camera but after several tries and no success, I finally gave up and just started taking random shots of JZ with the digital (in front of the tree, on the couch with the Santa hat etc.). And surprisingly enough, the picture I actually ended up using was not of him in his adorable red jammies (as previously planned), or of him in his adorable red sweater vest (another possibility), or even of him in his Santa hat. It was just one fluke shot which just happened to be in front of the tree (in a short-sleeved onsie and bib overalls…not exactly a planned shot, taken on one of our 75 degree days). WAIT until you see it. I can’t even tell you how cute I think this card is going to be!! I’m so excited! Does it show?? I’m such a super-dork.
I can’t wait to see it! I didn’t even know that they had snowflake stamps. You have certainly taken it to the next level…good work!
I share your pain re: pictures. I have a hard time getting Jillian to smile when she is wearing something cute. Normally when she smiles she is just in pjs, something dirty or in something which would not be appropriate for a holiday card (i.e. her ‘nobody puts baby in a corner’ t-shirt).
I would like to recommend three other sites, that have excellent Holiday and Christmas Photo Invitations.
http://www.CardsShoppe.com, http://www.Invitations-Shoppe.com and http://www.Holiday-Invitations.com. All three sites offer same day printing and shipping and your proof within one hour. You will really love these sites, just as I do.
I see you are also a victim of spamming comments…annoying!!!!
Is that what that is?? I thought the word verification was supposed to get rid of that. I was wondering why this new person didn’t notice that I had the card picked out since OCTOBER. Why would I need recommendations? Bah! Humbug! Damn spammers!
