We’ve got some pretty huge things going on around here these days. And my head is starting to feel like it’s going to explode. So to keep myself in order over here, I’ll tally it all up in list fashion. Surprise surprise.

As of today, the house is officially on the market. And we’ve already had one viewing. One and a half hours, right smack dab in the middle of nap-time. But I don’t really believe it happened because I couldn’t even tell they had been here. Ahhh… the beginning of a lovely couple (fingers crossed) of months. Man, I have a bad attitude already. We had been planning on putting it on the market in April, but according to our Realtor, we needed to take advantage of “spring break,” so here we go! Wish us luck… that it’s a quick and painless process.

Somebody pooped on the potty last week (who doesn’t normally do so) and it wasn’t Sophie. Woo Hoo!! Go Jacky-poo! haha! After I took him from the toilet back to the changing table to put his diaper on he asked to go “more.” Umm, ok. So I sat him back on the potty, where he sat back too far and sort of freaked out a bit about falling in (should have used his potty… but we were upstairs) and he jumped off, “all done!” I noticed a puddle on the floor and tried it again. But no success. So he ran off and peed on my bedroom carpet. Ouch. Well, hey, at least we got the poopie in the potty, right? I’m so proud. I wish you knew how proud I really am. Oh how I hate poopies these days.

Last but not least – a post in itself…
2 home pregnancy tests, one blood test, and an ultrasound has confirmed that we are indeed pregnant! 8 weeks tomorrow. A little early to share… but I couldn’t wait another day.

Woo hoo!! Congratulations!! So, that would be a Halloween baby or close to it? Well done!
Man, lots of changes going on in your neck of the woods. Selling anything is no joy. Hopefully, it will be a painless and quick process!
Wow, pooping on the potty! We’ve got it all down BUT the poop. Someday……
Congrats again!!
Congratulations!
SOOOO excited for you! Congratulations (on the potty and the pregnancy!)
Michele
WOOT!! Congrats on all of it–the pooping, the house up for sale and most of all, the new baby :)
WOW!!!! Congratulations! The pregnancy (and house and poo, too) is such huge news and I kept checking back hoping to see this note the last couple of months. So excited for you guys!
YIPPPPE! WAAAHHHOOOIIIEEE!
So what is the due date for this little bugger?
Did it happen au natural or what? (requesting tmi, I know…)
O.k. I am dying just thinking about Jack as a big brother…hilarious and fun!!
Seriously, I am so happy for you!
I’m due on October 29… and yes, au natural – I never did get that period. I’m super-fired-up at the idea of Jack being a big brother too! haha!!
Congrats on all the stuff. Obviously I am fired up to be an auntie again!! We are excited for you and can’t wait for you to get a big ‘ol belly! However, I have to say, my October calendar is so full of anniversaries and birthdays it is nuts. Can you do something about that?
WOO HOO!!! That is so exciting!!! Wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months. Jack is going to be an amazing big brother.
Where are you moving to? I didn’t know you were moving. Any chance you are coming back to Hotlanta??? (Wishful thinking, I know).
You know already how excited for you I am about being prego!!!!! You MUST give Jack the same cheering that you did for my guy when he went potty from me and Gavin. I hope you are selling your house to move closer to me!!!
Amanda and Eric,
I was sorting through my old e-mails and realized I hadn’t checked out your blog in a while.
Congratulations. Hope everything goes well.
And just remember, when it starts getting warm down your way, it is still cold up here.
See ya,
Congratulations!!! Sending you best wishes for a smooth nine months and a humid free summer..haha! Can we put a bet on Oct 22nd (kevins birthday)?
First of all, congratulations on all fronts! We’re excited for you all!
Second, you can tell your Realtor that it’s a great idea to take advantage of Spring Break–Dealing with drunken teenagers who know how to forge their parents’ signatures is a sure way to sell your house in a hurry. I hope you stocked the fridge and counters with some Miller high-life and Monarch vodka.
