This is good.
I was describing Prep to someone recently and remembered how much I liked it. So I finally broke down and read this book, by the same author. The idea of reading a book loosely based on the life of Laura Bush did not appeal to me at all. But I have to say. I really liked it. Quite a bit.
You might like Ladies of Liberty by Cokie Roberts. It’s nonfiction and quite large, but it reads really gossipy and you can easily skip around.
Hhmm..you might have inspired me to read my 3rd book of 2009. :)
I guess I ought to try it then, since we have identical literary tastes. :)
I really liked Prep- so maybe I’ll give it a read.
currently reading Little Bee- so far really good.
