This letter to Teddy from his Mom is so beautiful it made me cry. Aside from the fact that Teddy will be able to keep this letter forever (just like the ones written to Jack), you are a fabulous story teller, Amanda. I will miss your blog if you decide to give it up!

Teddy we just got to spend 4 full days and nights with you and you older brother while your mom and dad were out of town. You are the calmest little man I have ever seen. We got to see you take your first few, uncertain steps. It won’t be long before you will be walking and running.

Your mother’s comments about your Great Grandfather brought tears to my eyes. But when you get a little I will tell you some stories about your Great Grandfather that will make you laugh out loud. He enjoyed life for all 82 years he spent walking this earth.

By the way Teddy you were born on your Great Grandmother’s birthday. Your mom is not all that happy with me about that, but that is totally another story.

Teddy, I look forward to many, many years of exploring and learning with you and your brother.

Oh, an Amanda, for the record, I will backup E’s claim to have been e-mailing his mother at the time the pains hit you so hard.

I know where you’re coming from though- I feel exactly the same way these days.
I never seem to have the time to write and when I do, I don’t really feel like writing anything of interest.

but who says you have to post frequently?
maybe just here and there when you have a spare chance.
Which I’m sure with two little ones is next to never.

But I love reading your lists and updates and I for one would miss you if you stopped.

Yeah…I feel you. Blogging has taken a back burner for the last 6 months for me, too – although when I get the momentum to blog, I actually still love it! But I get it if you don’t or you do….I still love your writing! :)

Don’t forget about blurb.com – they will make this an album for you – get this on paper before you stop!!!
